Granite Exchange is officially 8 years old!
When we opened our doors back in 2018, I don’t think we could have predicted what Granite Exchange would grow into. At the time, the goal was simple – create a professional workspace in Newry where people could come in, get set up, and get on with running their business, without the stress and hassle that comes with traditional office life.
But what I’m most proud of, eight years on, isn’t the building or the services (although I do think we’ve built something really special). It’s the community we’ve created.
From day one, Granite Exchange has been shaped by the people who walk through our doors. And to every single one of our members, past and present – I just want to say a huge thank you.
A big shoutout has to go to all of our regulars who keep our meeting rooms busy week after week. Whether it’s meetings, training sessions, interviews, or quick catch-ups, you’ve made our meeting spaces part of your routine, and we love being able to provide that professional setting for you.
Some of my favourite Granite Exchange memories come from the events we’ve hosted over the years, the networking nights, business workshops, celebrations and everything in between. There’s something special about seeing the building come alive with people sharing ideas, making connections, and having a bit of fun while they’re at it.
Another huge milestone for us has been becoming home to Granite Podcast Studio, which I’m incredibly proud of. Not only is it a brilliant addition to what we offer, but it’s also something genuinely unique – Northern Ireland’s first dedicated podcast studio. Watching people come in with ideas and leave with real recorded content has been amazing.
As Managing Director, and someone who has been here since the very beginning, I can honestly say this journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Granite Exchange has grown year after year, but the heart of it has always stayed the same – supporting businesses, creating opportunities, and building a space people genuinely want to be part of.
So, from me personally, thank you again. Thank you to our members, our clients, our wonderful team and everyone who has supported us along the way.
Here’s to 8 years of Granite Exchange… and to what comes next.
